To my new lovely always-happy college friend,
After I explain to you that I'm attracted to some women, some men and some people who don't identify as woman or man and that I like to identify with the word 'queer,' that means you can stop with the lesbian jokes. Really.
Still quite a bit of love,
Your queer-as-queer-can-be friend

10/28/06 11:48 am - PICTURES!!!!!

More Pics. Some I messed with a bit to write funny things on that are...funny...and such...Click and they get bigger.

If Spike were to hang out at Caitlin's with the rest of us...

Willow being cute and adorable, also, 2nd best pick up line ever (after Liz's sire one of course.)

This is kinda what I look like at family gatherings

Heeheehee, I love this movie. Piper Perabo's character doesn't get screwed over by a bitch like in Lost & Delirious so it all works out okay :)

10/17/06 09:27 pm - Cheesey Coffee

No one even reads this thing so right now I feel free to be as cheesey as I want.

When I was little I was so incredibly shy that I would hardly talk to anyone and I would never do half the stuff I do now. Since the end of middle school I've been what most people consider to be pretty outgoing. Most of the friends I've made in the past few years would all say that I'm outgoing and never ever call me shy. I hated being shy when I was little and it seemed like everyone was always making fun of me for it. So why did it make me so happy tonight when she called me shy? How can she make me so happy just by looking at me? I've wanted to know her from the second she walked past me and now she's leaving me messages calling me the cutest thing ever. Now Starbucks is the best possible place to be just becuase she's there and she makes it the best place to be.

9/4/06 03:28 pm - Pic Spam Part 2

Whoo hoo! Look who figured out how to work her computer! Here's more pics that I don't own so don't sue me! (Who says you can't learn anything from reading fanfic!) These are all screencaps from Buffy and Imagine Me & You.

From Imagine Me and You:

"You're a wanker #9!"

So close!

FINALLY!

Don't try this at home, you could get rose thorns in your bum!

Aww, happy ending. :)

From Buffy:

HeeHee, I love Xander.

Happiest picture ever!

Dancing...tra la la...

"What? No, we were in no way thinking about having sex. Nope, not us. Hee Hee."

And finally a pic that made me think of a new funny thing in Buffy, even after watching it for 4 or 5 years.

When Willow comes to tell Tara that she loves her, she brings a candle and says it's "extra flamey." I just realized the how funny this could be because of the phrase 'Flaming Gay' Get it, one lesbian bringing a flaming candle to another? It's funny trust me.

I also added text to some of these pics and I'll be posting those later.

8/30/06 08:52 pm - Pic Spam

Pic spams always make me feel better. :) But alas, tis a tiny spam since not many of my files are jpg :-/

From CBS-

Sadly enough, this is the man that I spent my summer lusting after.

This is the desktop Caitlin made me :) :) :)

Uh yeh, tis it. :-/ I'm off to watch more of Serenity or possibly Saving Face.

8/30/06 08:07 pm - Question Everything

God damn it. I just typed up this huge thing explaining why everything has sucked lately and it got deleted. Fuck. Well let's boil it down a bit shall we?

You've heard the phrase "Question everything" before right? Well here are two reasons why that saying sucks beyond the telling of it.

1.) You might realize that because of who you're attracted to, a whole bunch of strangers may hate you and you realize that hurts you more than you'd like. And then you start to wonder if maybe they're right about a few things. And you end up crying until 2am thinking about some piece of shit legislation that says your love isn't as good other people's.

2.) You might realize that you hate the first question people ask when a baby is born - "Is it a boy or a girl?" Because maybe you don't match up with yourself as well as you thought or you realize you don't fit into either option and you have to deal with a question that seems really fucking pointless on every damn application or survey that you have to fill out and that every person who looks at you automatically judges you by what they assume is in your pants. It fucking sucks. And you wonder how you're supposed to respond to people and explain yourself to them when you aren't really sure about things yourself. And you get pissed that you're even expected to explain yourself in the first place. And you wonder if you can really pull off going by the name Lee in college and how you're supposed to go about asking your mom for a chest binder for christmas so that you can see what you might look like with a flat chest but being terrified of doing so mostly because you're worried about how much you might like it and where that would leave you then and if you'd want to go farther and how the hell you're supposed to call yourself a lesbian if you want to have your boobs cut off. And you think about how you're ever supposed to be happy when one day you're okay with what you are but the next you wonder how to save up all the money for top surgery and then you're back to being okay again the next day.

And then you're a confused mass of goo who hates everything but wants nothing more than to be a part of it all and how you're supposed to live in a world where you don't fit in anymore. And you wonder how it all got so lost so fast.

8/22/06 01:01 am - Spiked Hawaiian Shirt

I was gonna post a pic from the collage desktop Caitlin made me and when I searched google I found this instead which pretty much made me cry and gasp for breath because it's so fucking FUNNY!!!!!
K, Here's the pic I was originally looking for:

And here's what I found instead (be prepared to explode with laughter):

Yeah, that's right, there's a fucking action figure dressed like that!

*laughs self to sleep*

8/22/06 12:28 am - Things I Love After Midnight

Things I absolutely adore right now:

The Pink Spiders - Their CD Teenage Graffiti is awesome 'Yeah my baby's pretty as a car crash sexy as the stinger of a hornet in your arm just another modern swinger screaming catch me if you can with a cigarette in hand and it's love it's heavy and it hurts and it's love Yeah my baby's pretty as a car crash subtle as a splinter yeah my baby's smooth as sandpaper warm just like the winter screamin catch me if you can with a cigarette in hand and it's love it's heavy and it hurts and it's love' Wow, got carried away with that one.

My new incredibly dykey shirts that I bought at Kohl's today, my fingers actually hurt from buttoning and unbuttoning so many shirts.

My friend Kendra's new kitten, it's the cutest thing ever. Plain and simple. Ok, Kaywinnit Lee Frye beats it out in the cuteness contest but that's it!

The desktop my friend Caitlin made for me. So much Willow/Tara and Spike and Dru and Spike in the hawaiian shirt! Priceless!

Blogging on here and looking at all my pretty icons made by people far more talented than I. :)

6/15/06 11:56 pm - $30 for 30

Fair Wisconsin is a political campaign working to defeat the proposed constitutional amendment that would ban civil unions and gay marriage that will be voted on in Wisconsin on November 7th. This is the actual wording of the amendment -
"Only a marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state. A legal status identical or substantially similar to that of marriage for unmarried individuals shall not be valid or recognized in this state."
It would also have an impact on domestic partnerships (for both gay and straight couples) and domestic violence cases. It is already illegal for gay couples to marry in Wisconsin and this amendment would permanently deny the possibility of gay marriage or civil unions for loving and committed families. Fair Wisconsin has been working against this amendment since it was first proposed in 2004 so they've had much more time to work on defeating it than most other states where amendments like this have been proposed and passed. Wisconsin could be the first state in the US to vote NO on an amendment like this. If it is passed it will be the first time that discrimination is written into the state constitution. Wisconsin was also the first state in the country to include sexual orientation under anti-discrimination laws.
Today I received this e-mail from Pabitra Benjamin who works with Fair Wisconsin. I hope that someone who reads this will make a donation and help Fair Wisconsin increase its support.
"Good day everyone. The next 15 days could determine the outcome of this campaign, and I’m
writing with an urgent request. As the backbone of our campaign, I wanted
you all to hear about a new project: $30 for June 30. Fair Wisconsin will
soon email every supporter to ask them to give $30 before June 30, and to
ask everyone they know to do the same. You have delivered so much already,
but we need you now more than ever before.
On June 30, we must file a fundraising report with the state elections
board. Media and political observers will scrutinize our bank account to
decide whether we have enough to win. They will judge us more by this
filing than anything else until September and their confidence will bring
momentum, endorsements, and contributions we need to win.
If even ten people in every action network give $30, and recruit ten friends
and family members to do the same, we will raise $75,000. This is our goal
and we need to meet it. We cannot do it without you. If you step out of
your comfort zone I know we’ll succeed.
We ask so much of you, and today I’m asking even more. Please help us reach
these goals: HYPERLINK
"http://www.fairwisconsin.com/donate"www.fairwisconsin.com/donate
New contributions from every part of Wisconsin will prove what we know: you
are the heart and soul of this campaign and fairness is a value in every
single zip code in our state. We know this is asking a lot, so please
contact Liz Fujii (liz.fujii@fairwisconsin.com, 608-4412-0143 x303). She
would love to talk you through this goal and help you do your part to make
this happen.
The next fifteen days may determine victory or defeat and I know we can do this!
Thanks so much for your help at this crucial moment, Pabitra"

Please do anything you can to help, if this amendment is defeated it will send a strong message to the rest of the country that politicians can no longer use LGBTQ people as pawns for achieving their own political goals.

6/14/06 09:34 pm - First Entry

Hello there! Like I said in my bio on the user info page, I'm going to use this basically to tell anyone who's listening to vote against the ban on gay marriage and civil unions that will be voted on in Wisconsin on NOvember 7th. I just love the fact that the first two letters of November are NO which is how all rational, loving people should and hopefully will vote in NOvember. I don't know if I'll ever be able to spell it the regular way again, but hey, who wants regular? I'm kinda tired right now but I will write more later so if, in the meantime you get bored, go to some of the links below and have fun there. :)
